It is illegal to ride e-scooters without wearing a helmet. MUST WEAR HELMET AT ALL TIMES WHEN RIDING.
Do not operate e-scooter if intoxicated with any substances or alcohol. Please take into account that riding impaired could result in a D.U.I charge, and you will also be accountable for the 30 days e-scooter. impound fees.
Ride with the flow of traffic, not against it. Ride in control at all times. Proceed at a safe speed that permits you to react quickly to unexpected circumstances. Yield to pedestrians and other vehicles.
Refrain from engaging in any form of stunts with the e-scooter.
You must be 16 YEARS and OLDER to ride e-scooters. DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS TO RIDE/RENT E-SCOOTERS.
Follow all traffic signs and rules, such as stopping at a stop sign, following traffic lights, yielding to traffic, signaling your turns riding in one way street correct direction, yielding to pedestrians.
Only one person is allowed on an e-scooter. DO NOT CARRY ANY PASSENGERS ON E-SCOOTER.
E-scooters should be ridden on the road and bike lanes only. DO NOT RIDE ON SIDEWALKS.
Ride in a single file.

Do not operate an e-scooter if your driver's license is suspended or canceled under the highway traffic act or if you are prohibited from operating a motor vehicle or obtaining a driver's license.
